Day Three - Painting at Historic Apex

Apex is a beautiful little town, rich in subjects from storefronts to trains and cottages.

Bonnie paints a storefront from beneath a tree
as Kim and Marjie find an all-day shady spot to paint from.

Ann focuses on an old caboose; Tiffany on an art gallery doorway.

From a corner location Gaby paints a church steeple in pastel.
Down the street Patricia tackles a view of the Apex's main street.

Mike faces one of the challenges of plein-air painting...
He starts to paint the town's caboose from across the tracks;
then a train moves back and forth to pick-up more cars.
Fortunately, the train finally moved so he could continue working.

Tiffany and Gaby take a much-needed break...then it's off to dinner!

A festive meal had by all.
