Demure

Part of my 20th Century Vintage Ladies "HATS" Collection.

A formal vintage ladies hat with soft satin-shaped rose, delicate veil and pearl trim. Looks like it may have been worn for a special event or wedding. I was told by the person who sold it to me that it emulated one Linda Evans wore years ago on the TV show "Dallas." In this painting, I sought to capture the loveliness from the top of the hat seeking a "shy" or "demure" look.
